The kingdom is in grave
danger! Evil creatures are swarming across the land, determined to kill the king and
destroy the royal palace. Only the magic of the legendary MOONSWORD can defeat them! The
MOONSWORD rests in a world full of great wonders and hidden dangers, a world which may
only be reached by the most powerful spells. The king's sorcerer is ready to cast this
spell, but he can only do it once. You have been selected to
make the journey to the land where the MOONSWORD may be found. You will appear in the hut
of an Old Man who knows what you must do. He will give you a quest to perform which will
reveal the MOONSWORD to you. AND NOW YOUR ADVENTURE BEGINS! You begin in the Old Man's
Hut. Your Quest Card will tell you what Magic Objects you need to gather and where you
need to go in order to find your MOONSWORD. You may gather objects by performing requests
for various creatures, by defeating creatures in battle, or by facing dangerous traps. You
may become hurt or badly hurt on the way, or you may find yourself unconscious, yet there
are Magic Items, good Advice, and Gypsy Healing bundles to help you. When you have your
MOONSWORD, then you must find the way back to the kingdom quickly, before it is destroyed.
The Magic gateway that will send you back home lies in one of the trap spaces on the
board. If you are the first player to bring your MOONSWORD back through your Magic
Gateway, then you have SAVED THE KINGDOM AND WON THE GAME!  |
