The Environment of Yreka

We chose Yreka because of its pristine environment. Low humidity, pollen count and radioactive fallout combine to make a safe place for the environmentally sensitive. The farm has been maintained safe by strictly adhering to organic standards. While close to Mount Shasta and Mount Ashland Ski Resorts, we seldom have snow on the ground for longer than a week in the winter. In the summer the arid climate provides relief from more humid climates. Every summer afternoon is met with a pleasant breeze which blows through the Klamath River Canyon.
